hey all.
we've had a crazy morning today. we had to post a package with heavy stuff, and as some of us expected it has turned into high drama!! but we've had a great time over the last few days we stopped at dads cousins one night and they were really nice, then the next night we were at different cousins again, and that evening we had dinner with more family and that was a great evening! i even got to see and sit in Peter's (dads cousins husband's) 1925 Bugatti - WOW! :DDD
we're spending the night at this average hotel down the road from Kings Cross station and then we're near the airport on sunday night
today we're going to go on the london eye (but that looks less and less like its going to happen) then in the arvo we'll meet up with our neighbours son who is taking me and keith out for a couple of hours!!
then tomorrow we hope to go to madam tousards wax works, but thats only if we can leave our bags at the hotel, and that doesnt look like its likely to happen either, so otheerwise we'll catch a taxi/tube to the airport hotel and get a set of scales and try to get out bags down to 20kg each. that will be fun, coz dad;s bag with all the souvineers weighs ~30kg!!
we get back on tuesday night, and look forward to seeing you all then!

Scotland was great fun!!
Well! what a week we have had!
we caught the train from Kings Cross Station (yep! the one where the Harry Potter Movies were filmed/set). we spent 4 hours on the train then got off at Ednburgh.
The next day we toured around Edinburgh and saw the sights, then went to Edinburgh Castle. and made our way down 'the Royal Mile' which is a street that runs between the Castle and Parliment House.
The next day we were off on another tour, this tome to an island called Skye. Along the way on the 3 day tour we saw many sights, including Duane Castle where the Monty Pythons and The Holy Grail was filmed, the Fairy Glen where there are 356 Mounds that are made in the strangest way (wont explain here - its confusing!), Kilt Rock, Dunvgan Castle which is the home to the clan MacPherson which is home to the 'Fairy Flag' (again, i can exlain that when i get back - it has a good story!) then Dun Beag Brock which was an old hill top fort, and this gave a great view to the Cullin Mountain range and to Sgurr Alisdair.
we then headed back on the return trip to edinburgh and along the way we stopped at Eilean Donan Castle which mum explained to me that it was famous for being famous, the Loch Ness but no sign of the monster and then arrived in the city in the evening.
We spent the next day seeing the sights of the city, then yesterday we caught the train to Darlington where we are staying at my nanas friends place.
We have had a really nice and quiet day which hgas been a nice change from flying around!
We're having great fun, but i will be glad to be home! I could really do with a holiday after this! :P
